First of all I would like to start this off by saying that I work nightshift at a retail chain store, I stock clothing essentially. Well I listen to my ipod on night shift and I usually load up some podcasts from Anime World Order (just google it) and there was this quote that really struck me as funny. It was this interview with the author of the Anime Encyclopedia, Helen McCarthy and to sort of go into background it touches on England's influence in japanese anime. (why so many series use England as a background, so to speak)
Helen McCarthy: "England is presented as a kind of mystical neverworld.. England is kinda like Japan's Narnia"
Daryl Surat: "It's like a fairyland full of castles and princes.."
Helen McCarthy: "That's it! And everybody is very friendly and the villians sound like Jeremy Irons.. it's not a real place"
That made me think of Axis Powers Hetalia for some reason. Just imagine England's expression when he is told that he is -not a real place-. Awww poor England. We still  you.

New guy that stocks shelves is creepy. I don't like him. I mean, like heebie jeepies sort of vibe coming off of him, as if at any minute he's going to go postal. Good thing I'm in Softlines. :whew:

Thirdly. Dr. Jezebel Disraeli from Godchild. Okay, he is now my favorite Yuki Kaori character of all time after reading volume 7. Poor Jezebel, it was like I've never felt quite so strongly for any of Yuki Kaori's characters as I do for this single character. Not even Rosiel. (because Rosiel is just not a sympathetic character in my book.. I can never bring myself to be too sorry for him). Jezebel however, I've got a really big fondness for him. He just deserves more. You know if I could, I'd just give him a farm..yeah, a farm. I bet he'd really appreciate that.

Bam bam bam.. those were my points.
