Firstly, people who leave their spit cups lying around the store are disgusting. No honestly, if you have such a disgusting habit as that, the very least you can do is get rid of it. (Oh wait, I forgot most spitters have the manners of a fricking sow in season.)

Secondly, I have been listening to The Golden Compass audiobook and it's a really amazing story. I remember there was some controversy over it because the author was an atheist or something, well I don't know how that should matter. I do not see anything brow beating about it, and it's an engaging story. Alot of people need to realize that books are books, that they sometimes contain controversial subjects. If you don't like it, don't read it.. and if you don't read it then you shouldn't complain over it's contents, easy as 1-2-3!

I have a headache and I'm going to bed, just wanted to ramble off thoughts that occured to me in my long shift at work. Also, I'm going to kill my cat if she doesn't watch out, tried to get into the window and pulled down the shades, the little bitch, luckily she didn't wake Midori.

I love the His Dark Materials series. My cousin gave them to me to read because she loved them because her intrepretation was Catholic Church = evil. I totally got a completely different message out of them, but enjoyed them just as much. I think if you go into a book looking for stuff like that then that's all you'll get out of it, while I just enjoyed the books for their story!

Absolutely! And at the end of the day if you disagree with the morals or point ascribed by a book or movie then don't read/watch!
